Why Christchurch?
Christchurch is the main city of the South Island with a population of over 350,000.
One third of Christchurch is devoted to parks and gardens, earning it the reputation of the 'garden city'. The city is noted for its warmth and hospitality to visitors and its extensive amenities provide everything the visitor could want.
The increasingly multi-cultural nature of the city is reflected in the variety of restaurants, cafes, shops and open markets that cater for every need.
The city is a leader in New Zealand education, with two universities, (Canterbury and Lincoln), a Polytechnic and several Language Schools.
