Extension and Acceleration

Able students are provided with a more challenging learning programme. A staff member acts as a mentor for especially able students at Yrs 9 and 10. Each major department offers extension activities.

Some students with outstanding ability in a particular subject may be given the opportunity to study that subject at a higher level. This enables them to experience a broader range of subjects as they move through the school.
