On Tuesday 10 March, the Careers Team at Riccarton High School hosted a successful Careers Night, giving students and their whānau the opportunity to learn more about study options beyond Riccarton High School, as well as apprenticeships, employment pathways, and student finance. We also had presentation from Andrei Rebotoc on of our 2024 leavers cohort who is successful navigating his careers pathway.
Liaison representatives from Ara Institute of Canterbury, Lincoln University, University of Canterbury, and University of Otago attended the event. They were available to answer individual questions and provide detailed information about their programmes and study pathways. We are very grateful that they took the time to come along and support this event.
The evening was a valuable opportunity for students and their families to explore future education and career options and to speak directly with representatives from the Careers team and tertiary institutions.
