Derived Grade Information During Exams

In the event of illness, injury or other circumstances that mean an exam cannot be attended, or if this impairs performance in an exam, derived grades may be applied for.

Section A can be filled in online and saved before printing or sending.

  • Hard copies are available from the Student Services Office at school.

In cases of a positive Covid-19 test result, the school can complete a derived grade application on behalf of the infected candidate. If you test positive:

  • Report the infection / positive result online or by phone with the Ministry of Health.
  • Screenshot the return acknowledgement of the Covid-19 positive report.
  • Send the screenshot to Mr Campbell, cb@riccarton.school.nz including the start and end dates of isolation and the exams that will be missed.
