In the event of illness, injury or other circumstances that mean an exam cannot be attended, or if this impairs performance in an exam, derived grades may be applied for.

Section A can be filled in online and saved before printing or sending.
- Hard copies are available from the Student Services Office at school.
In cases of a positive Covid-19 test result, the school can complete a derived grade application on behalf of the infected candidate. If you test positive:
- Report the infection / positive result online or by phone with the Ministry of Health.
- Screenshot the return acknowledgement of the Covid-19 positive report.
- Send the screenshot to Mr Campbell, cb@riccarton.school.nz including the start and end dates of isolation and the exams that will be missed.
