Great company, great cause!

On Friday 26 August, the Level 2 and 3 Te Ao Māori class were very fortunate to visit Pūtaringamotu Riccarton Bush in the company of some All Blacks team members.

Sam Whitelock, Ethan de Groot, and Josh Dickson worked with our students to plant 17 totara trees that had been grown from seed in the Pūtaringamotu nursery. It was amazing to spend time in the ngāhere (forest), connect with the players, and have fun learning about the kaitiakitanga (guardianship) of this precious piece of bush in the heart of Ōtautahi Christchurch.
