As we work towards the conclusion of a very busy Term 2, the industrial dispute between the Ministry of Education and the PPTA has still not been resolved. The PPTA has advised that the planned rostering home action for the remainder of Term 2 will continue as per the schedule below:
Week 8 – 12 to 16 June 2023
Monday: Year 11 & Year 12
Tuesday: Year 9 & Year 13
Wednesday: Year 10 & Year 11
Thursday: Year 12 & Year 13
Week 9 – 19 to 23 June 2023
Monday: Year 9 & Year 10
Tuesday: Year 11 & Year 12
Wednesday: Year 9 & Year 13
Thursday: Year 10 & Year 11
WEEK 10 – 26 to 30 JUNE 2023
Monday: Year 12 & Year 13
Tuesday: Year 9 & Year 10
Wednesday: Year 11 & Year 12. Please note: A paid Union Meeting is scheduled for this day, Wednesday 28 June. Further details to come.

This means:
The rostering home of students will begin on Monday 12 June and will now encompass two year levels per day. Students will be expected to continue with set work on their rostered day home.
It is important to note that we have obtained an exemption to run the literacy and numeracy exams for our Year 10 students between Tuesday and Thursday next week. Therefore, Year 10 students are expected to attend their exams at school and will continue with their school work at home during these three days when they do not have an exam.
We want to acknowledge the inconvenience that the continued industrial action is likely to cause to you and your family. We appreciate your ongoing support in what is a very disrupted Term 2 and join you in the hopes that a resolution is found before the beginning of Term 3.
