Over King’s Birthday Weekend, two of our students represented Canterbury in the IPC U17 Volleyball teams competing in Wellington.
The boys’ team achieved an impressive 3rd place, while the girls’ team finished 4th overall.
Congratulations to Lillia and Gus on their selection for these representative teams. Their commitment, hard work, and dedication throughout the selection process and subsequent training sessions have been outstanding, and we are proud of their achievements.
We would also like to acknowledge two Riccarton High School alumni, Alan Hodder and Isaac Weir, who were members of the IPC Canterbury Men’s team. Their team had an exceptional tournament, finishing 1st overall and claiming the championship title.
Well done to all players on their success and for representing Canterbury with pride.
